Abyssinian: After 3 years, still the best cat breed for families

Our Abyssinian has been part of our family for 3 years and I still get emotional thinking about how much he has enriched our lives. beautiful ticked coat — and with two young kids, that means everything.

endlessly entertaining. We've tried other breeds before but nothing compares to the Abyssinian's temperament. He is active, curious, playful and adapts beautifully to our busy household.

The main things to budget for: needs lots of stimulation. We also learned about renal amyloidosis, so we get regular vet checkups. Overall cost is higher than I expected initially, but every penny is worth it. Highly recommend this breed to anyone and everyone.
