Ideal family cat

My American Bobtail has been the perfect family cat from day one. She is patient with my children, sociable with visitors, and adaptable to the general chaos of family life. She initiates play with the children and signals clearly when she has had enough without resorting to scratching. She has never once been aggressive despite a great deal of provocation from energetic children. An ideal family companion.
