Great with young children

We got our American Shorthair when my daughter was three. Four years on and they're inseparable. She's patient, never swipes, walks away when she's had enough, and comes back for more affection on her own terms. I appreciate that she communicates clearly without aggression. A trustworthy, stable companion for family life.
