Solid cat but less interactive than I wanted

An honest review: American Shorthairs are well-tempered and easy to care for, but they're not overly interactive. Mine is friendly and calm, but she doesn't seek out cuddles the way I hoped for. She's happy to sit near me but doesn't ask for much. If you want a self-sufficient, uncomplicated cat, this is ideal. I personally wanted more affection.
