The coat is gorgeous and manageable

Birmans have beautiful semi-long coats but without the dense undercoat that causes the worst matting in other long-haired breeds. I brush mine twice a week and that's genuinely sufficient. She comes out looking show-quality after each session and seems to enjoy the grooming process. A real pleasure to keep.
