The most serene companion

My British Longhair is the most peaceful creature I have ever shared my home with. She sits in the window in the sunshine, regards the world with calm amber eyes, and purrs when stroked without moving a muscle otherwise. She is not demanding, not destructive, and not vocal. She is simply present and warm and content. For someone who wants a calm, beautiful companion she is absolutely perfect.
