Best introduction to cat ownership

My Burmilla was my first cat and she has been the perfect introduction to cat ownership. She is not too demanding or too independent. She is affectionate enough to make the relationship rewarding and self-sufficient enough not to be stressful. She has shown me the best aspects of cat companionship. I am completely converted to this breed and will always have a Burmilla.
