Can be shy with strangers — requires socialisation

Without careful early socialisation, Egyptian Maus can be quite shy with strangers and slow to accept new people. My boy took months of repeated visits before accepting a close friend. This isn't aggression, just genuine caution. Extensive socialization as kittens makes a significant difference. If you choose this breed, invest in early exposure.
