More vocal than expected

My Japanese Bobtail is a wonderful cat but he is more vocal than I anticipated. He narrates his activities, asks for things persistently, and talks back when I speak to him. I have grown fond of the communication but it was unexpected. If you prefer a quiet cat this breed needs careful consideration. If you enjoy conversation with your cat he is delightful.
