Manx syndrome is a real health concern

Tailless Manx (Rumpies) can have spinal issues related to the tail mutation — this is called Manx syndrome. Responsible breeders test for this and avoid pairing rumpies. My girl is a stumpy (partial tail) and perfectly healthy, but prospective owners should research carefully and only buy from breeders who health-test. This is not a breed where health testing is optional.
