Beautiful but very independent

I wanted a cuddly cat and instead got a majestic observer. My Norwegian Forest Cat watches everything from high shelves but rarely comes to sit with me. He's healthy, eats well, and is never destructive — just not what I expected in terms of affection. If you want a lap cat, look elsewhere. If you want a beautiful, self-sufficient companion, this is your breed.
