I want to give an honest review because I think there's a lot of romanticization of the Russian Blue breed online. Yes, low shedding. And intelligent and gentle is genuinely lovely.

But here's the reality: doesn't like change. This is not a small thing — it genuinely impacts daily life. can be anxious also caught me off guard. I've had to rearrange my schedule significantly.

The health considerations are real too. relatively healthy breed. I've spent more at the vet than I budgeted for.
