Great Scottish Fold experience — just go in with realistic expectations

My Scottish Fold Finn is 4 years old now and has been a wonderful companion. The breed lives up to its reputation: quiet and calm. I particularly love that gets along with everyone.

My one knock is that joint problems. I underestimated this when I first got he. Also, ethical controversy over breeding is something you need to plan for. It's not a dealbreaker but requires commitment.

On the health front, osteochondrodysplasia. Budget for that and you'll be fine. Four solid stars — would recommend to the right owner who knows what they're getting into.
