Think very carefully before getting a Siamese — my honest experience

I'm writing this after 4 difficult years. I want to be clear: I don't blame the breed. The Siamese has genuine wonderful qualities — very bonded to owner. But the challenges have been overwhelming for us.

very loud and demanding has been relentless. can be destructive alone was something we were told about but completely underestimated. It has affected our entire family's daily routine.

The health costs have been devastating. asthma. We did not have adequate pet insurance and the financial strain has been significant.

One star because I feel the breed community isn't honest enough about the true demands. Some people are absolutely perfect for Siameses. I was not one of them. Please research thoroughly.
