White markings difficult to breed predictably

My Snowshoe is a wonderful cat but I want to mention that the white mitten markings are notoriously difficult to breed predictably. My girl's markings are slightly asymmetrical which is not a health issue but affects her showability. If you intend to show a Snowshoe, be prepared that perfect markings are not guaranteed. For a pet companion this is entirely irrelevant but worth knowing.
