Sphynx: After 5 years, still the best cat breed for families

Our Sphynx has been part of our family for 5 years and I still get emotional thinking about how much she has enriched our lives. hilarious personality — and with two young kids, that means everything.

loves people. We've tried other breeds before but nothing compares to the Sphynx's temperament. She is energetic, affectionate, inquisitive and adapts beautifully to our busy household.

The main things to budget for: heart disease risk. We also learned about hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, so we get regular vet checkups. Overall cost is higher than I expected initially, but every penny is worth it. Highly recommend this breed to anyone and everyone.
