Incredibly loyal and focused on their person

Once a Border Collie bonds to you, that bond is intense and total. My girl watches me constantly — tracking my movements, reading my mood, anticipating what I want. It's both wonderful and slightly overwhelming at times. She's not anxious, just utterly devoted. We have a communication shorthand that feels almost telepathic after four years together.
