Surprisingly easy to train

Boxers have a reputation for being stubborn but mine has responded beautifully to positive reinforcement. He's food-motivated enough that training sessions are highly productive and the enthusiasm he brings is infectious. He learned basic obedience quickly and now we're working on more complex commands. The stubborn streak exists but it's manageable.
