Think very carefully before getting a Bulldog — my honest experience

I'm writing this after 4 difficult years. I want to be clear: I don't blame the breed. The Bulldog has genuine wonderful qualities — low energy indoors. But the challenges have been overwhelming for us.

wrinkles need daily cleaning has been relentless. breathing difficulties was something we were told about but completely underestimated. It has affected our entire family's daily routine.

The health costs have been devastating. hip dysplasia. We did not have adequate pet insurance and the financial strain has been significant.

One star because I feel the breed community isn't honest enough about the true demands. Some people are absolutely perfect for Bulldogs. I was not one of them. Please research thoroughly.
