Transformed my thinking about the breed

I was initially intimidated by Dobermans. A friend's girl changed everything. Now I have my own and I spend a lot of time wishing I'd started sooner. They're sensitive, intelligent, loving animals who happen to look imposing. The reputation for ferocity is largely unearned. What's real is the loyalty and the intelligence. Simply spectacular dogs.
