Think very carefully before getting a French Bulldog — my honest experience

I'm writing this after 4 difficult years. I want to be clear: I don't blame the breed. The French Bulldog has genuine wonderful qualities — hilarious personality. But the challenges have been overwhelming for us.

can be stubborn has been relentless. breathing issues are real was something we were told about but completely underestimated. It has affected our entire family's daily routine.

The health costs have been devastating. eye issues. We did not have adequate pet insurance and the financial strain has been significant.

One star because I feel the breed community isn't honest enough about the true demands. Some people are absolutely perfect for French Bulldogs. I was not one of them. Please research thoroughly.
