Cold weather challenges

My Greyhound struggles terribly in autumn and winter. He shivers on walks, refuses to go out in rain, and has developed a strategy of standing at the back door and staring at me accusatorially until I carry him back inside. He needs a coat for temperatures below about ten degrees. If you live somewhere with mild winters this is a non-issue. In a colder climate budget for several good quality coats and manage your expectations about outdoor time.
