Great Labrador Retriever experience — just go in with realistic expectations
My Labrador Retriever Rosie is 2 years old now and has been a wonderful companion. The breed lives up to its reputation: amazing with kids. I particularly love that incredibly loyal.
My one knock is that pulls on the leash. I underestimated this when I first got he. Also, eats everything is something you need to plan for. It's not a dealbreaker but requires commitment.
On the health front, hip dysplasia is common. Budget for that and you'll be fine. Four solid stars — would recommend to the right owner who knows what they're getting into.
