Beautiful breed but the grooming almost broke me

I knew the OES needed grooming but nothing prepared me for the reality. My boy mats within three days of brushing if I am not diligent. I went through three brushes in the first year. He now has a shorter pet clip which is much more manageable but he still needs attention every week. His personality is wonderful and his temperament is everything you could want. Just go in fully prepared for the grooming commitment.
