Friendly with strangers and other dogs

Properly socialised Shih Tzus are wonderfully social dogs. Mine walks up to everyone she meets and cheerfully accepts all friendly attention. With other dogs she's enthusiastic and appropriate in scale — she's small enough that even big dogs tolerate her polite approaches. I can take her anywhere confidently.
