Long-lived and healthy

My Westie is fourteen years old and still bright-eyed and engaged with life. She has slowed considerably and her hearing is less sharp but her personality is unchanged. She sits in the garden in the sunshine, investigates interesting smells slowly, and still demands her evening cuddle. The longevity of this breed is extraordinary. Fourteen years of wonderful, characterful companionship and I am hoping for more.
