A Yorkshire Terrier in full coat is a genuinely beautiful thing. But that coat requires daily brushing and regular trims unless you keep it in a short puppy cut. Most city owners keep the practical cut. I maintain the long coat and enjoy the daily grooming — it's become a relaxing ritual. Just know it's a real commitment.
