Surprisingly athletic and brave

I expected a lap dog. I got an athlete who occasionally sits on my lap. My Yorkie hikes with me, swims in lakes, and tackles terrain that embarrasses dogs five times her size. She's fearless and agile and seems to view her small size as irrelevant. Once I adjusted my expectations I fell completely in love with the breed.
