Never stop laughing

Three years of ferret ownership and I still laugh every single day. The war dance when they're excited, the sideways stumbling when over-stimulated, the dramatic "dead ferret" sleep (so limp and still that new owners panic), the deliberate stealing of specific items to provoke a chase — ferrets are absurdist performance art. My two sable ferrets have brought more joy per day than any pet I've kept. Extraordinary animals.
