Forty years of talking and he shows no sign of stopping

My Orange-Winged Amazon is forty-two years old and still learning new phrases. He has lived through my marriage, the birth of my children, and my grandchildren learning to walk. He greets everyone by name and has a specific insult he reserves exclusively for my neighbour who he has never liked. His longevity means this species is truly a lifetime commitment — plan for that and embrace it.
