Can be nippy if not socialised early

My Dutch rabbit took a while to fully trust us and went through a nippy phase around three months old. Patient handling and respecting his body language gradually sorted this out. He's now four years old and very calm, but the early months required real consistency. Dutch rabbits are wonderful once bonded, but don't assume they'll be immediately tame — they need socialisation like any rabbit.
