Sweet but took months to bond

My Mini Rex is lovely now, but the bonding process was slow. She hid for the first month and would thump if I approached too quickly. With daily patient interaction — sitting near her, offering treats, talking quietly — she gradually became more confident. Now she hops onto my lap voluntarily. Some rabbits just take more time. If you're patient the reward is a wonderfully affectionate companion.
