Changed my mind about snakes entirely

I was terrified of snakes until a friend let me hold their ball python. The warm, dry, smooth scales and the calm, curious way it explored my arm completely reframed how I thought about snakes. I got my own within a month. Three years on, I have two and they're my favourite pets. Ball pythons make excellent ambassadors for snake keeping — they're gentle, beautiful, and endlessly fascinating.
