Beautiful and surprisingly interactive

Leopard geckos have far more personality than I expected. My gecko Spots comes to the front of her enclosure when she hears me, investigates everything I put in her tank, and occasionally licks my hand as if to taste the world. The range of colour morphs available is extraordinary — I went with a tangerine morph and she's absolutely stunning. A wonderful, low-maintenance reptile pet.
