Virtually odourless and incredibly clean

One of the best things about chinchillas is that they are essentially odourless. The cage needs cleaning, but the animals themselves have no smell whatsoever. Combined with the hypoallergenic fur, they're ideal for allergy sufferers like me. My partner has cat allergies but has no reaction to our chinchilla at all. A beautiful, clean, and fascinating pet.
