The dust baths are the best part

Watching a chinchilla take a dust bath is one of the most joyful things in pet keeping. They roll and wiggle in the dust with such pure enthusiasm and their coat comes out perfectly fluffed. My chinchilla gets two baths a week and performs an excited little spin whenever I bring the bath out. He's been with me seven years and I genuinely cannot imagine life without him.
