Hilarious to watch, tricky to handle

I bought dwarf hamsters expecting to handle them like a Syrian, which was a mistake. They're lightning-fast and very wary of being picked up. Once I accepted them as "look but don't touch" pets and focused on building a rich enclosure for them to explore, my enjoyment shot up. They're genuinely fascinating animals to observe. Just adjust your expectations around handling.
