Solo trip to Argentina: everything you need to know

Did 18 days solo in Argentina and found it extremely manageable as a solo traveller. The transport network around Buenos Aires is decent and getting to Quebrada de Humahuaca independently was straightforward. Met fellow travellers easily and locals were generally happy to chat.

passionate tango culture in Buenos Aires was a personal highlight — something I'd only found in independent travel research. One note: long distances within Patagonia. Nothing serious but worth knowing. The solo experience here was genuinely rewarding and I came home having learned a lot about a place I knew very little about.
