My 14 days exploring Hobart and beyond — completely worth it

I spent 14 days in Australia and based myself mainly in Hobart. The city itself exceeded expectations — the Uluru was genuinely jaw-dropping and I ended up visiting twice. Food was a highlight throughout; I must have eaten flat white coffee every other day and have no regrets about it whatsoever.

What I didn't expect was stunning wildlife unique to Australia. That element really elevated the trip from good to exceptional. The locals I encountered were warm and patient with my attempts at the language. I'd encourage anyone on the fence to just book it.
