Family holiday in Belgium — kids loved it, parents survived

Took the family to Belgium for 9 days and it worked better than I'd hoped. The kids were fascinated by Atomium — more than I expected from children who usually resist sightseeing. Food was manageable: even the pickiest eater in our group found things to eat, and Belgian waffles went down well with everyone.

brilliant museums kept everyone engaged and gave the trip a memorable high point. Bruges can feel like a theme park in peak season was the main practical difficulty but nothing that ruined anything. Would absolutely return with them.
