Solo trip to Cambodia: everything you need to know

Did 17 days solo in Cambodia and found it extremely manageable as a solo traveller. The transport network around Koh Rong is decent and getting to Ta Prohm temple independently was straightforward. Met fellow travellers easily and locals were generally happy to chat.

very affordable was a personal highlight — something I'd only found in independent travel research. One note: heat in April is extreme. Nothing serious but worth knowing. The solo experience here was genuinely rewarding and I came home having learned a lot about a place I knew very little about.
