Honeymoon in Canada — Montreal and the countryside delivered everything

We chose Canada for our honeymoon and it was perfect for us. The romantic atmosphere in Montreal at night, the drama of Old Quebec, the intimacy of small restaurants serving butter tarts — all of it added up to exactly what we were hoping for.

spectacular wilderness became an unexpected gift — something we stumbled across that felt made for the occasion. We had 5 days and used every one of them well. Some destinations disappoint when the pressure of a special occasion is on them. Canada didn't.
