Solo trip to Czech Republic: everything you need to know

Did 19 days solo in Czech Republic and found it extremely manageable as a solo traveller. The transport network around Prague is decent and getting to Charles Bridge independently was straightforward. Met fellow travellers easily and locals were generally happy to chat.

affordable by Western European standards was a personal highlight — something I'd only found in independent travel research. One note: exchange offices with bad rates target tourists. Nothing serious but worth knowing. The solo experience here was genuinely rewarding and I came home having learned a lot about a place I knew very little about.
