Family holiday in Germany — kids loved it, parents survived

Took the family to Germany for 7 days and it worked better than I'd hoped. The kids were fascinated by Reichstag Building — more than I expected from children who usually resist sightseeing. Food was manageable: even the pickiest eater in our group found things to eat, and sauerkraut went down well with everyone.

excellent public transport kept everyone engaged and gave the trip a memorable high point. very formal service style was the main practical difficulty but nothing that ruined anything. Would absolutely return with them.
