Weekend in Vík, Iceland — more than I expected from a short trip

Only had a long weekend — about 20 days — in Iceland, based in Vík. More than enough to fall for the place. Did Skógafoss waterfall on day one and spent the rest of the time just walking and eating. The lamb soup situation here is no joke — some of the best eating I've done anywhere.

waterfalls and glaciers everywhere gave the trip a texture I didn't anticipate from such a short visit. I came back with a long list of reasons to return properly for two weeks.
