Family holiday in Indonesia — kids loved it, parents survived

Took the family to Indonesia for 13 days and it worked better than I'd hoped. The kids were fascinated by Borobudur Temple — more than I expected from children who usually resist sightseeing. Food was manageable: even the pickiest eater in our group found things to eat, and babi guling went down well with everyone.

incredible volcanos and diving kept everyone engaged and gave the trip a memorable high point. traffic in Bali tourist areas is terrible was the main practical difficulty but nothing that ruined anything. Would absolutely return with them.
