Solo trip to Israel: everything you need to know

Did 6 days solo in Israel and found it extremely manageable as a solo traveller. The transport network around Eilat is decent and getting to Western Wall independently was straightforward. Met fellow travellers easily and locals were generally happy to chat.

world-class food culture was a personal highlight — something I'd only found in independent travel research. One note: airport security is lengthy. Nothing serious but worth knowing. The solo experience here was genuinely rewarding and I came home having learned a lot about a place I knew very little about.
