Weekend in Mombasa, Kenya — more than I expected from a short trip

Only had a long weekend — about 7 days — in Kenya, based in Mombasa. More than enough to fall for the place. Did Diani Beach on day one and spent the rest of the time just walking and eating. The chai situation here is no joke — some of the best eating I've done anywhere.

vibrant Maasai culture gave the trip a texture I didn't anticipate from such a short visit. I came back with a long list of reasons to return properly for two weeks.
