Family holiday in Kenya — kids loved it, parents survived

Took the family to Kenya for 8 days and it worked better than I'd hoped. The kids were fascinated by Maasai Mara — more than I expected from children who usually resist sightseeing. Food was manageable: even the pickiest eater in our group found things to eat, and sukuma wiki went down well with everyone.

vibrant Maasai culture kept everyone engaged and gave the trip a memorable high point. safari costs are genuinely high was the main practical difficulty but nothing that ruined anything. Would absolutely return with them.
