My 14 days exploring Casablanca and beyond — completely worth it

I spent 14 days in Morocco and based myself mainly in Casablanca. The city itself exceeded expectations — the Sahara Desert dunes was genuinely jaw-dropping and I ended up visiting twice. Food was a highlight throughout; I must have eaten pastilla every other day and have no regrets about it whatsoever.

What I didn't expect was incredible food. That element really elevated the trip from good to exceptional. The locals I encountered were warm and patient with my attempts at the language. I'd encourage anyone on the fence to just book it.
